Just a technical note of some importance... The "New Creation", i.e. the New Heavens and the New Earth have some significant differences. The New Heavens are more of a cleansing where any access to God is removed for all who came in defiance, e.g., Satan and all the other angels who rebelled with him will be cast into the "Lake of Fire" and thus pure bliss, harmony, love and righteousness dwell there only. However, the "New Earth" won't be a simple "removing of the effects of the curse" but a total reconstruction of the earth, for it will be cleansed by fire such as one peeling off the skin of an orange. So, one could say that God is going to 'recreate' His first creation beginning with a mass of uninhabitable dirt and rock and with a word of His mouth a place of unimaginable beauty what will be created for His redeemed sons/daughters a place where they will dwell in their new incorruptible and beautiful transformed bodies with no vestiges of what existed in the past exists.
