A new fitness craze known as "Gospel aerobics" is sweeping across the United States. Hundreds of churches and community centres are offering workouts set to energetic Christian music. Victoria Johnson,a fitness instructor who has compiled a national gospel aerobics directory on the internet, said that the class catered for body and soul. "I encourage everyone who walks on a treadmill to make that their morning or evening devotional,"she said. " Lets take our time of movement and turn it into a time of worship,a time of praise and a time of prayer."
Hmmm. The last couple of weeks I took my Palm Zire 71 (to use as an MP3 player) and head phones to the health club. The MP3 files were the White Horse Inn series on knowing God's will. DV - I will add the series on the Puritans this weekend when it is finished.
I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing altar calls at the end of the aerobics session as a cool down period.
