Okay, I know there's some of you out there who know Greek. I'm taking it right now via correspondence and am having a wee difficulty.
How do you determine if the verb aitew is signifying asking something of the object, or asking for the object? For example, if I write "aitw philon" how do I know if I'm saying "I ask a friend," or "I ask for a friend"? Just by the context? I might be missing something, so would appreciate input!
(Latin phrase goes here.)
