I heard a Pastor say, oddly, at the end of a sermon that he believed in a spiritual non-bodily resurrection. It was the one he preached when the church we were attending at the time called him to be their Pastor. It was like he was slipping that one under the radar.
What exactly was he talking about?

What exactly was he talking about? Without knowing the "context" of the man's sermon, we can offer nothing more than speculation. However, IF he was referring to the resurrection of believers when Christ returns, then he was correct. It is the "souls" of believers who have died in the faith which are resurrected and afterward given their new incorruptible bodies in which they will live on the New Earth. simul iustus et peccator

Well he just kinda threw it in at the end sort of as an exclamation point.
I knew I could count on you guys to figure it out.
