Paul was expecting something from God? Saul deserve salvation? Paul chose to be saved? Paul salvation is a good example or election? God show providence in Saul salvation?

knoxandcalvin said: Paul was expecting something from God? (not sure about your purpose of interchanging Saul / Paul) It appears that Saul's religion was completely based on works. Saul thought he was doing something for God, not that he was expecting something from God. OTOH, after his conversion Paul understood the workings of God and eagerly made himself available and looked for opportunites to serve Him.
