Hate crimes legislation is being enacted everywhere, especially in Canada. Evil political cabals such as feminists, homosexual rights groups and antichristian religious fanatics (Muslims) are rapidly growing threats to our peace and liberty.

I believe that the day is coming and in some ways has already arrived that Christians will be jailed as being "intolerant" for simply expressing objections to abortion, depraved sexuality or the wicked teachings of the false prophet Mohammed. This hypocrisy is regardless of the fact that in many Muslim countries, one may be executed for leaving the "faith" of Mahound. How "tolerant" is this?

Once again, as in the dark ages, having a bible in ones possesion may be lawfully condemned as a "hate crime" by the priests of our new age.

Remember, Christians were executed by Rome for being atheist. But blessed is He who has conquered the world.

And though this world, with devils filled,
should threaten to undo us,
We will not fear, for God hath willed
His truth to triumph through us.

The prince of darkness grim, we tremble not from him;
His rage we can endure, for lo! his doom is sure;
one little Word shall fell him.

That Word above all earthly powers,
no thanks to them, abideth;
The Spirit and the gifts are ours
through Him who with us sideth.

Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;
The body they may kill: God's truth abideth still;
His kingdom is forever.

People who speak thus make it clear that they are seeking a homeland.

If they had been thinking of that land from which they had gone out, they would have had opportunity to return.

But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one.

Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared for them a city.

(Hebrews 11:14-16, ESV)

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month.

The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.

They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

And night will be no more.

They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

(Revelation 22:1-5, ESV)

Thanks Paul,

Sometimes we all need our fears and frustrations in this evil world to be "calmed down" a bit with words like these.

1 Peter 4:14-16 (ESV)

14If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. 15But let none of you suffer as a murderer or a thief or an evildoer or as a meddler. 16Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.

In cases like this we should always also remember what Jesus said:

Quote
John 15:20
Remember the word that I said to you: 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours.

My pastors occasionally tell of an young Iranian who worked with them for several months on a missionary team (Operation Mobilisation) in Europe in the early 1970s. At the time, he found it difficult on occasion to speak openly of Christ to Muslim expatriates, knowing that to do so could put his and his family's lives in jeopardy. But the Lord caused him to grow in confidence and he later returned to his homeland as a Christian pastor, where he boldly preached Christ until his martyrdom in 1994. You might want to read the defense of the Gospel he was enabled to give at his trial.

Our faithful Savior will enable his people to stand at their hour of testing.

Hmmm--How do they define "hate crimes" when applied to the various sects in Islam?
