I believe Dr. Robbins has some very interesting things to say and some very good advice in this commencement address at Faith Theological Seminary, Baltimore Maryland.

Denny,

Thanks for sharing the link to Dr. Robbins' address. I found it to be most moving as it was filled to the brim with sound wisdom and truth. We can only hope that there will be some who listened to his address who will take to heart what he said and apply it to their lives and thus glorify God as did the apostle Paul from whom Dr. Robbins' encouraged them all to emulate.

In His grace,

I have admired many of Dr Robbins' works over the years. I first found him, as have many, since I have been strengthened and edified by the works of Gordon H Clark. He - Dr Robbins - has been kind to me many a time with recommendations on readings, books, etc. I was saddened to hear of his recent surgery, yet encouraged to hear of the surgery's success. I have prayed more than once daily for his full recovery. A good man.

Grace is not common.

Reading Mr. Robbins commencement address made me think that I should lay aside men’s words and read God’s word more than I do.

Quote
“Because the Bible alone has the words of knowledge, the words of eternal life, your first duty is to give attention to the Scriptures. Read them constantly; read the Bible from cover to cover. In this way, as Paul says, you will save both yourself and those who hear you teach.”

John W. Robbins
