From what I can see, it seems that Ben is the one who just doesn't seem to get it. As Piper has said, "that is not narcissist that is loving."
Is it narcissist for God to bring glory to himself?

I think all big Ben truly demonstrates in his blog post is how narcissistic man can be. To think that this man, and those who follow him, are offended at the thought that God's own glory is the center of His attention, and not man, is the epitome of narcissism.

Narcissism is inordinate, pathological, fascination with one's-self.
If we take as our premise that God is the Sovereign, perfect Creator, then his self-love is hardly inordinate or pathological.
Grace is not common.
