I would like to wish everyone a wonderful 4th of July. As I think of our independence day from the England, I also reflect upon the day I was free from the grips of sin and death. The irony is, on the day I received my independence from one master I became dependent on Another. Thank God I am not free from Him, but that He keeps me under the shadow of His wings.<br><br>God bless you all and have a dependent day in Christ.

July 4, 1973 <br><br>The day I got discharge from the USAF. I was stationed in Italy at the time, and I remembered getting on the train heading for freedom. I took what was called an Europpean out where I bummed around Europe for six weeks before flying home.
