Do you use a daily devotional? If so which one? I use Spurgeon's MORNING and EVENING and sometimes Spurgeon's Faith's Checkbook.

I voted 'no.' The only reason is that my reading and study time is full. I just don't have the time for a daily devotional.

I also use Spurgeon's Morning and Evening. I really enjoy the way he phrases things and I find it very comforting and uplifting

I have many devotionals, but Spurgeon's Morning and Evening is my favorite because it has depth. Some devotionals are very light, but M&E actually has some weighty theological truths.

I also read the Scriptures every day.

I use a devotional each evening with my wife before we pray together.

I don't use a daily devotional, just the Bible and whatever book I may or may not be reading at the time.

I have a schedule of Bible readings that I follow along with a reading plan for the Institutes that I am currently using. But my devotional reading is from Ligioner's Table Talk.

I voted no because I don't use a devotional book regularly, however for the past few weeks I've been reading a prayer from The Valley of Vision: A Collection of Puritan Prayers & Devotions each morning. Great stuff!

I normally read one chapter of scripture and then later I too use Spurgeon's book.

Personally, I don't use a devotional. My practice is to read the Scriptures, usually 1, 2 or 3 chapters and then pick a portion of what I have read to study, meditate on and then apply it for the day. I also try to memorize a verse or passage which really is impressed upon my soul.

For those who aren't in the habit of reading through Scripture, you might consider using something like M'Cheyne's Daily Bible Reading Calendar. BigThumbUp
