Just a simple question.

Super Bowl, yes or no
single choice

I wish they'd play on Saturday instead... but I must admit, I'm not into football much.

The Lord's Day, in my view, is the entire day.

Even if the Super Bowl wasn't being played on Sunday, I wouldn't watch it. I have no interest in watching a bunch of overpaid, steriod-pumped jocks run up and down a graduated lawn trying to do bodily harm to their opponents. evilgrin

Come on... most of these guys will get paid more than the President of the United States earns in a year and for what? playing a game! igiveup

I might be tempted, however, to eat a bag of Orville Redenbacher microwave popcorn in protest. [Linked Image] rofl

No, I am not at all tempted to watch football, of course, I don't even have television reception here so I couldn't watch it. But it is the Lord's Day and I don't feel that is a proper way for me to spend that day. The popcorn sounds like a good idea though.

I really don't get sports in this country. The time and money that is wasted on something that is supposed to be a game. It is a golden calf in this coutry. The only sports I watch is women's soccer because my daughter coaches a college team. But pro sports is not a game but a business and the character of many players is not that of a role model. Don't get me started.

Never ever watched a Super bowl game in my recollection. However I will admit to watching the collection of halftime commercials but not necessarily on Sunday.

Point of fact Superbowl could be playing any day and I wouldn't be watching. So the question of it being on Sunday is meaningless.
