I got word earlier this evening that one of my coworkers, who was having problems with her pregnancy, delivered and lost her child.

I am looking for a copy of Donald Dunkerly’s sermon “The Sovereignty of God in the Death of Our Daughter.” If anyone knows where I can find it please let me know.

Please pray for Patty and Jason Sensat.

Thanks
Rev. Dunkerley's article appeared in an article from the December 2, 1988 issue of the Christian Observer. You might try contacting them from the information supplied on their website here: http://www.christianobserver.org/

Thanks. I had done a "Whatever happened to..." search of the web a couple of months ago and had found this sermon, and still have a printout of it. That was the week before Dr Geoff Thomas was here for a preaching series!
I am so sorry to hear this. I will pray for them. I lost a daughter 9 years ago and I can say there isn't much that will give them solace, at least at first.

There is a great book I saw at my local reformed book store on grief. A couple had a baby that lived 55 days, and it is there story. It has quite a few stories of some of the pruitans who lost children. A wonderful book.

I believe the title is "From Grace to Glory" or maybe Grief to Glory. If you are interested I will find out the complete title.

Linda
