The Highway Forums General Discussion Open Forum Best wishes for 2022

I'd like to offer my prayers and wishes to all reading this, for the upcoming year of our Lord 2022.

That by His Grace each of us might better know, love, obey, walk with, and serve our precious, Holy, Merciful, and Sovereign Lord.

That He might be glorified in and through each of us, and in and through each and every thing that happens.

That He might draw those around us who do not yet know Him to genuine repentance and faith in Him, very soon, before it is too late, and that both we and they might tell others, and so on, until there erupts as it were a veritable "pandemic" of Spirit-led revival.

That in the meantime, He would both restrain evil, and use it and all other things to work together for good to His people.

That He might cause us to see and love the things of Him, and to no longer love the things of this world which is perishing.

That remaining sin in our lives might be defeated in growing measure even here in earth, as it already has been in heaven, by the unfathomable grace and mercy of God as He sent His own Son to purchase and redeem a people unto Himself, at a cost we will never begin to fathom in this life, and perhaps not ever.

That we might grow in knowledge of and love for His Word, that we might hide that Word in our hearts that we might not sin, and that we might encourage others to do the same.

That in every thing His will might be done.

That we might fully trust that He cares for us infinitely better than we could possibly think to care for ourselves, and, likewise, also for those around us and those whom we love.

Come quickly Lord Jesus.
