By now most have heard about the threat President Trump made against Iran which amounted the genocide of the people of Iran, if the evil regime did not comply. I for one, found it shocking and profane. I thought he came across as unhinged. However, another Reformed Christian said the following and I am wrestling with the matter. Basically that if you are going to say that about President Trump. You better be willing to say that about King Solomon concerning coming up with the solution of cutting the baby in half. Solomon’s immoral threat garnered praise for being the most wise.
They argued back and forth in front of Solomon, until finally he said, “Both of you say this live baby is yours. Someone bring me a sword.”
A sword was brought, and Solomon ordered, 25 “Cut the baby in half! That way each of you can have part of him.”

Everyone in Israel was amazed when they heard how Solomon had made his decision. They realized that God had given him wisdom to judge fairly. Thoughts? Tom

Take a pill!!  Trump never implied that ALL Iranians would be annihilated; every man, woman and child! Oh, but God did command Israel to totally wipe all, every human being in the land they would enter, including animals. Do you find that "shocking and profane"? The Jihadists, the ultra radical Muslims who are currently running the country and have been for 47 years screaming for the death of ALL "infidels"; those who refuse to bow the knee to Islam and live according to Shariah Law. They were far too close to creating viable nuclear weapons which could and would have landed in your precious Canada as well as the United States and all western countries. Something, someone had to take the "bull" by the horns and put an end to these fanatical terrorists. Go ahead and slam Trump and ALL who believe that he is doing the right thing and enjoy your safe and secure life in Canada which is making Sodom and Gomorrah look decent.  Unlike Canada, we have laws based upon Scripture which do allow someone to use deadly force when threatened by someone who is capable and willing to do severe bodily harm or even cause your death. Iran's insane leaders have declared DEATH to Israel and America and ALL infidels. We took their threats serious and they were very near capable of actually caring out their threats. Perhaps you are totally ignorant of the facts, what has been going on and the hundreds of Americans Iran has tortured and murdered over the past 47 years? What would you do if threatened? Canada's leaders would doubtless be on the phone calling Trump to send in the troops.

In war time it's always best to take the rhetoric with skepticism. Modern war is fought in the media as well as the battlefield, and rhetoric is a weapon and tool of warfare.
