Who is Vincent Cheung? I went to his web. He seems reformed. Does anybody know anything of his background etc.? His books are free downloads---this throws up a flag.

Amanda, I'm going to stick my neck out here and speak in behalf of BibleRon. If I'm speaking wrongly, then I hope he will correct me.
But the old proverbial Flags go up immediately for me as well whenever I see someone is giving away a book(s) for free. These are "caution" flags and not necessarily "judgment" flags. For it seems to be the case that most of the "lone rangers" out there whose views are alien to those of the historic Creeds and/or Confessions, generally are more than willing to distribute their heretical teachings any way they can to whoever is willing to read them. So, it isn't a case of "guilt by similarity or association", but one of discerning the spirits. (1Jh 4:1)
I agree on the need for discernment, just as long as we don't jump to conclusions or make unwarranted implications about a person, that's all.
And again, it is indeed true that many who hold to sound Reformed Christianity do freely offer their books and recordings for free, such as those on sermonaudio.com, so we should be careful about saying too much about a person (good or bad) just because he is willing to offer his books for free.
