Did the Early Chruch Fathers teach that the church was prophecied in the Old Testament Scriptures?
Take care

Hitch, Are you really asking if the ECFs were Premillennial Dispensationalists? <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/scratchchin.gif" alt="" /> What I can tell you is that some held to a form of Premillennialism, aka: "Chiliasm", but Dispensationalism is a very recent phenomena. The most widely held view of eschatology for many centuries was "Post/Amillennialism". See here: The History of Chiliasm, by William Masselink. In His grace,

By "DF distinctive" do you mean "Dispensationalism", aka: Darbyism/Scolfieldism? If so, not to my knowledge. Dispensationalism is a very recent phenomena, c. mid-1800's.
