One of the reasons why some are in favor of allowing the illegal immigrants to stay in this country is because they are hard-working. That's well and good. But, I wonder if anyone has thought that we force those on welfare to work for their wages, then we would not need the hard-working immigrants.

I'm a somewhat idealistic on this issue. I say let them come. Just do not give them any government aid or privileges, including free schooling for their offsprings. I don't know if closed borders are supported biblically. Now, if the government has instituted a close door policy, then we are to obey the government.
