I know Pilgrim is going to take me to task for entertaining strange doctrines but I came accross this web-site and do not know what to make of it? - has anyone ever heard of this guy and his teachings? (or teachings in a similar vein?)

I scanned the site and it looks to me like this person is presenting what I term 'new truth.' As the saying goes, 'if it's true, it isn't new, and if it's new, it isn't true.'

I find it hard to imagine that God wouldn't see to it that the church fathers such as Augustine didn't have a correct understanding of Scripture.

This quote alone from the author's pen should be enough to raise the red flags. Just self-contradiction itself should give you a clue that this guy is seriously mistaken and thinks far too much of his "key to understanding the Scriptures" where everyone in the past 2000 years has missed it.

Methinks you need to sit back, and have a bag of hot buttered popcorn and forget about this guy and all like him.

Are you referring to Dispensational Pre-millenialism? If so, I think you are mistaken, as John Nelson Darby is concidered the founder of Dispensationalism.

I'm sure it's a reference to chialism - a first-century premillennial view which today we call historic premillennnialism. Quite different from the popular Dispensational premillennialism with its "left behind" scenario and two peoples of God.

THE SECTS. We therefore condemn all who deny a real resurrection of the flesh (II Tim. 2:18), or who with John of Jerusalem, against whom Jerome wrote, do not have a correct view of the glorification of bodies. We also condemn those who thought that the devil and all the ungodly would at some time be saved, and that there would be an end to punishments. For the Lord has plainly declared: "Their fire is not quenched, and their worm does not die" (Mark 9:44). We further condemn Jewish dreams that there will be a golden age on earth before the Day of Judgment, and that the pious, having subdued all their godless enemies, will possess all the kingdoms of the earth. For evangelical truth in Matt., chs. 24 and 25, and Luke, ch. 18, and apostolic teaching in II Thess., ch. 2, and II Tim., chs. 3 and 4, present something quite different.
