Thanks for sharing that article. I've heard Michael Horton speak about that report on the White Horse Inn program. But I haven't seen it until now.

I don't know about you but I'm really not too surprised by that report. I've always felt that the Willowcreek model was lacking in spiritual development. I actually know people who are members there and they tell me that they know people who attend regularly but the way they live their lives remains unconverted and unchanged. The whole idea of reaching unchurched Harry with seeker sensitive services doesn't follow the biblical model calling for repentance and faith.

Thankfully they are discovering that their emphasis on numerical growth doesn't equate with spiritual growth.
