Rod,<br><br>The reason for the time restriction is because I don't want someone to be able to change a post, let's say 3 days after it was written, to remove something written that lot's of people have responded to, because of what was initially written. <br><br>The whole purpose of allowing users to edit their messages is one of convenience and compassion... knowing that sometimes there was a poorly phrased sentence, missed spelling errors, typos, etc. that most people would like to be able to change within a short period of time after the message has been posted. In other words, it's a courtesy extended born out of my own experience and wanting to extend to others.
