It is poor theology to pick & choose which parts of the OT sacramental/sacrificial system one desires to use to prove a point in regard to Christ's atonement. ALL OF IT must be regarded for ALL OF IT in total gives the proper understanding of what Christ actually accomplished on the cross. The sprinkling of blood is but one facet of the whole.

Everything you said here I agree with. However, I am not sure it is fair (not sure if they are) to say that these people are picking and choosing. What I understand them to mean is that MacArthur is denying the facet of the sprinkling of the blood as part of the whole. Does that make a difference?

Please understand all I am trying to do is understand the issue enough to be able to give an informed answer should I feel the necessity to do so. I hope you understand that.
I am hoping to look at this matter through commentaries such as Henriksen's and other resources of Reformed persuasion. You have already helped in that regard.
