In part... Karl Barth was one mixed up dude! giggle He held to Universalism AND Particularism. Contused? scratch1 His approach was a 'dialectic' which allowed him to hold that contrary propositions are compatible, e.g., he believed in election of all men, but there were two groups of the elect; the elect elect and the elect reject. More contused?
