...That's why it takes Amazing GRACE to save a wretch... like me! ![[Linked Image]](http://www.the-highway.com/Smileys/stuck.gif) Ironically, I believe that Amazing Grace is my husband's favorite hymn. Maybe he isn't hearing the words. Anyway, he must have been up during the night. He printed some articles by Geisler for me to read. But I'm reading "Free Will and Responsibility" by John Byl. I like this: "We are held accountable for all our deeds and words, even though these are determined by our heart: "A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say to you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned (Matt. 12:35-37)." http://www.the-highway.com/freewill_Byl.htmlMy husband is a Geisler fan. I'm not.

My husband is a Geisler fan. I'm not. And would you believe that there is an interesting critique of Norman Geisler on The Highway? You can access it here: Chosen But Free?, by James Harrison. ![[Linked Image]](http://the-highway.com/Smileys/squareface.gif)

And would you believe that there is an interesting critique of Norman Geisler on The Highway? You can access it here: Chosen But Free?, by James Harrison. Thanks(again). I also found this: Geisler denies he is an Arminian and calls himself a “moderate Calvinist.” Calvinists nevertheless consider his doctrine Arminian. I am calling him that because of his defense of synergism. Bob DeWaay, Free Will or the Bondage of the Will: Definitions are Critical I'll read the article by Harrison and then I'm going to read all the apologetics I can find on determinism. So I'm going to be busy. Later I'll study other topics. I'm trying to stay focused. Mainly I want to defend God's right to decide whom He will save; sounds silly, doesn't it?
