The Genesis 1 passage is somewhat irrelevant, which I will bring up below, mainly because it is as noted 'Antediluvian' (pre-Fall).

The Genesis 9 passage seems to make my point, that ALL things were given for food after the Fall with no mention of any prohibitions in regard to certain types of food which seems clear enough from the text itself: "With all wherewith the ground teemeth, and all the fishes of the sea, into your hand are they delivered. Every moving thing that liveth shall be food for you; As the green herb have I given you all."

Now, the "irrelevant" part of Gen. 1. It seems to me that Peter got a 'taste' (pun intended) of the rebuilding of the corruption which took place at the Fall. At the coming of Christ, these dietary laws were no longer necessary and once again man is free to eat all. (Rom 14:14)
