I came across info saying that in 2011, EPC allowed a congregation to move from their presbytery (boundary lines) to another one (outside of boundary lines) due to the former (Central South) forbidding the ordination of women. This particular congregation supported women ordination and wanted to unite with a presbytery-friendly one.
Okay, that is how it works. However, I notice that the two EPC churches on the coast have been placed in the Central South Presbytery upon leaving the PCUSA. I know for a fact that they have women elders, so I assume the churches support women ordination. I now wonder if the Central South Presbytery has changed its views over the last year, or what will happen?
