Been dialoging with a Christian who holds toGod accepting Jesus as being faithful to the Covenant, be being fathful and in odenience to God, was a guilt offering, and God justifies us due to the faithful covenant beaer?
he denies imputation, and that Jesus died not in perfect keeping of the Law as means to save us, but on his obedience as the Covenant bearer?
He thinks Calvin and reformed took over Catholic penance on their views here... This seems to be a version of Wright view, isn't it?
