The Sound of Freedom

By now most people have heard about the movie ‘The Sound of Freedom’.

This movie is causing quite a bit of controversy and apparently from what I have heard, media is not covering this. Yet despite this, I am hearing that more than 2 million have watched it.
This is a movie that is being pushed by Mel Gibson and because of that I have been sceptical about this particular movie.
However, when I talk to Reformed friends who were not fans of ‘The Passion of the Christ’, they all say after researching the ‘Sound of Freedom’. They believe it is a much needed movie, that because of the nature of the subject. Almost everyone should not only watch it. But be aware of the child slavery that is happening in the world today.

I am trying to form an educated opinion about it for myself. I just watched video about the movie ‘The Sound of Freedom’.
It names a few names from Hollywood that are somehow involved in the child slavery such as Dwaine the Rock Johnson and Opra.
Johnson says that none of these allegations are true about him and he is willing to fight these allegations and do whatever it takes to clear his name.
In case you do not know, Johnson is one of the biggest names in the acting business.
Hollywood apparently are up in arms concerning the movie.
I have no idea what could happen concerning this.

Any thoughts on this movie, or the subject matter is welcome.
