Is there any option to search the User List? For example, I want to look up how many users list a particular author on their profile.

Simply click on the "Search" link at the top of any page. Scroll down to the second "Search Users" table. By clicking on the little arrow in the Search for: box, you can choose what parameter you want to search for and then type whatever you are are looking for in the Search word(s) box.
