On the Van Till thread I mentioned that the people at Red Beetle, made the accusation that James White believes like non King James Bibles that Lucifer is the "Bright and Morning Star".
I am assuming Red Beetle is referencing Rev. 2:28 & Rev. 22:16. I looked these verses up in the NIV and a few other Bibles. What I noticed is that unless I am missing something, all the versions I have looked up have Jesus as "the bright and morning star."
Thus it appears to me that this accusation against James White and non-KJ Bibles is a lie.
Personally I am not sure why they would make this accusation, for it was a little too easy to prove their accusation wrong. I am not sure what James White believes concerning this, but it would appear that if this is any indication; on both fronts Red Beetle accusation is based on a lie.
This is a little ironic, because they say James White’s book on the King James controversy is based on lies.
I wouldn’t mind getting some feedback on this.
