and not confident in how I would answer.
Are the titles (names) of books in the Bible, themselves, inspired, inerrant, or is it just the contents in the books?

Are the titles (names) of books in the Bible, themselves, inspired, inerrant, or is it just the contents in the books? Interesting question. Throughout all of my education, I never was taught that the names of each of the books was inspired, i.e., they were part of the original text; Hebrew or Greek. Just as an example, the "Song of Solomon" as we tend to call it was popularly known in the days of the Puritans as the "Song of Songs" and no one has questioned the validity of either name. Admittedly, this isn't a definite answer, but that's the extent of my knowlege of this one.
