Howard,

As others have pointed out the outsidethecamp.org website is flawed with errors. However I think because of your background and experience you are trying to express opposition to Arminian thinking where God extends his "free offer" to all and waits on man to accept Him. As if God loves everybody the same and can only be their Savior if they let Him. You've come to see and understand that God is sovereign and not man.

However Calvinists can and ought to be good evangelists. We have the freedom to declare that salvation rests wholly and exclusively on God's love in Christ from the foundation of the world, according to His sovereign, electing purpose. At the same time, we have the freedom to call every sinner to surrender to Christ in faith for salvation and eternal life. We plead with sinners to come to Jesus, not because we believe they have the native ability to do so, but because Jesus is the only Savior. We believe that "He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them." (Heb.4:25)

We don't pretend to know who the elect are until God reveals them.
