Modalism (not of the ship building type), yes, and a related issue, Patripassianism (the belief that God the Father and Son are simply different aspects of God). The implication of this belief is that God the Father suffered on the cross. It is accepted primarily by some Pentecostal groups, sometimes referred to as "Oneness Pentecostals" or "Jesus Only" Pentecostals, among them; The Apostolic Assembly of the Faith in Christ Jesus, United Pentecostal Church, The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, The Apostolic Church of the Faith in Jesus Christ, The Bible Way Churches of Our Lord Jesus Christ World Wide, The Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ, The Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith, The Apostolic Overcoming Holy Church of God.
